Meditab IMS certified by Surescripts

Intelligent Medical Software (IMS) has been certified by Surescripts® for prescription routing messaging for RxChange and CancelRx.

In addition to NewRx and Refill request functionality, IMS is certified by Surescripts for Cancel Rx, Cancel Response, Rx Change and Change Response functionalities. With IMS, in partnership with Surescripts, prescribers have the following options: (1) to confirm when the pharmacy identifies a need to make a change to or clarify the original new prescription, (2) to correct a mistake on a prescription, or (3) to discontinue therapy of a prescription that is still active.

Surescripts operates the nation's largest e-prescription network and supports a rapidly expanding ecosystem of health care organizations nationwide.

With rankings in allergy & immunology, endocrinology, nephrology, pediatrics, plastic surgery, urology, chiropractics, gastroenterology, podiatry, and more, Meditab and IMS continue their history of industry-leading, specialty EHR development.

 

Black Book utilizes a multi-step process to collect candid performance data of EMR/EHR vendors, gathering data on 18 performance areas of operational excellence to rank vendors. The data is subjected to an internal and external audit to verify completeness and accuracy. During the audit, each data set is reviewed by a Black Book executive and at least two independent auditors. In this way, clients and prospective clients are able to clearly see how an EMR/EHR vendor is truly performing.

Drummond Group EHR Certification.

Meditab Software, Inc., an affiliate of MedPharm Services, is pleased to announce that Intelligent Medical Software V14 SP1 attained Ambulatory EHR Certification from Drummond Group by participating in the Drummond Group ONC Health IT Certification (ONCHIT) program. IMS has been found compliant with Clinical, Care Coordination, Patient Engagement, Public Health, Interoperability, Security, Privacy, Clinical Quality Measures, Meaningful Use Stage 3 and MIPS Objectives and Measures.


Drummond Group is designated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) as an Authorized Certification Body (ACB) to certify Complete EHRs and EHR modules that have been successfully tested and deemed capable of supporting eligible providers and hospitals as they seek to become Meaningful Users and qualify for EHR Adoption incentives. IMS was granted certification following rigorous and thorough testing against the ONC approved test Procedures by Drummond Group.
