Meditab Achieves ONC HIT 2014 Edition for IMS

Sacramento, CA – February 25, 2015 - Meditab is proud to announce that its IMS® software, IMS version 14 SP1, has achieved the The Office of the National Coordinator's HIT 2014 Edition.


This announcement signifies the company's complete electronic health record certification, which designates that the software is capable of supporting eligible providers with meeting the stage 1 and stage 2 meaningful use requirements under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Additional certification, included optional criteria for Cancer Registries and for all the 64 CQM measures.

ONC HIT Certification for 2014 is granted to those technologies that are capable of meeting the more rigorous testing criteria developed to support providers and hospitals that wish to demonstrate stage 2 meaningful use. This, in turn, focuses on the capability of health IT to deliver quality patient care and securely exchange clinical information.

IMS version 14 SP1's certification number are 140025R00 and 140353R00. ONC HIT certification conferred by ICSA Labs does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Clinical quality measures to which IMS version 14 SP1 has been certified include:

  • Capture and export
  • Import and calculation
  • Electronic submission
